The Italian F.N.A. (Fabbrica Nazionale d’Armi) Brescia Arsenal Carcano Model 91/38 Conversion is a bolt action Carbine, manufactured circa the early 1940s at the Italian Military Brescia Arsenal during a production run between 1938 and 1945. This is a short carbine, stocked almost to the muzzle, with a bayonet lug and a handguard. This M91/38 carbine was rechambered during the war for the German 8x57mm Mauser round. This modification entered service in 1943, just before the Italian capitulation.
