Product Description
“The VZ.24 Mauser Romanian Contract rifle is a storied bolt-action firearm, representing an era of significant military advancements and political shifts in Europe. Manufactured by the distinguished Zbrojovka Brno, this rifle is chambered in 8mm Mauser and was a principal weapon for the Romanian infantry during World War II. The gun’s overall condition is good, with the stock showing signs of use and the bluing mostly worn to a patina, yet it remains in good working order.
The VZ.24’s legacy is rooted in its design, inspired by the German Karabiner 98AZ, and its contribution to the evolution of military firearms. Its 23.23″” barrel with a bayonet lug and the integration of a rear leaf V notch and front shrouded blade sight highlight its usability and precision. “
